Blogtober Day 1: What’s in Store?
Ahhh, I’m feeling all sorts of feelings entering into Blogtober. First, it’s already October? Goodness, there’s so much happening this month and I’m trying to gather all of my thoughts. For me, this month is going to be about coming back to center over and over again.
October is a month for grounding.
This (grounding) is a great way to launch into the remainder of the year, especially as it’s typically a busy time for everyone. So, amidst the chaos how can we come back home to ourselves? There will be highs and there may be lows but can we somehow have neutrality be the throughline? I believe the more I create capacity for grounding, the better I can stand firm amidst everything else going on.
What Blogtober means to me.
I’ve participated in Blogtober, Blogvember, and even Blogmas. I did try the vlogging version before but eventually got overwhlemed. Taking on this fun little challenge experiment is a way for me to show up for myself and the community. My goal is:
to see what inspiration strikes throughout this month and within my writing
get back into writing more long format content- which has been something I’ve told myself I would do for awhile
connect with my readers (hoping more conversations come out of this)
encourage you to also take on experiments that help you evolve
Blogtober is a way for me to stretch myself creatively and nurture a part of me that has been begging to be tended to. I plan to share a variety of things like crafts, journaling tips, books I’m reading, maybe some stories? I’ll still be sharing Coffee Talks, Cafe Visits, and Coffee Shop Hops while also giving myself the space to finally put out into the world the things that keep landing on me.
If there’s something you’d like to see from me, please share and if you want to get notified with every blog post I share, join the club below.
