Something that will forever blow my mind, is how God can have a personal conversation with me. Even if I’ve drifted away. Even if I’m mad at Him. Even when I didn’t ask for it… God speaks.
When I do intentionally ask, I get a direct response and sometimes God leaves me room to continue leaning into divine timing and trust. Meaning He gives me opportunities to walk the walk. To step into faith and to be expectant. It may not come when I want it to but that’s the beauty of it. It’s how I strengthen my relationship with Him.
Regardless, I’m always given winks from above.
Reminders that I’m on the right path or nudges that I need to leave something or someone. There’s been times I was so nervous about hearing God wrong yet it all worked out. It all came full circle rather it was a graceful learning lesson or praise report.
I want to discern His voice better. I want to get closer to Him. I want to have more conversations with Him. Which is funny to think about, how I can just pray throughout the day. It’s no “set time.” However, I want my conversations to go deeper. I want times where I’m not even talking but I’m just simply sitting, and listening.
I want my relationship with the Lord to be unshakeable that nothing can shake it.
God is my Father, teacher, coach, leader, mentor, guide, doctor. My everything. And again, it amazes me how intimate our relationship can be while He also shows up for others. Omnipresent. What a wonderful God.
This photo is from several years ago, I wanted to capture my friend at the time in worship and it was so beautiful to witness.
